Question 155
There are electronic istikhara services on the internet: you read some surahs of the Quran, click the mouse, and a verse appears. Is it valid to take istikhara in this way? There are different versions, but all are electronic.

Without identifying the specific system itself, it is not possible to answer about it. In general, you are not compelled to use this. You can read the Quran and take istikhara with the Quran by looking at what appears at the top of the right-hand page. If it contains glad tidings, put your trust in God. If it contains warning, caution or threat, avoid the matter.
