Question 107
If an animal is stunned in some way before being slaughtered, does that affect the permissibility of the slaughtered animal?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
As long as the animal is alive when the slaughtering procedure is performed, the slaughtered animal is lawful and its meat may be eaten; there is no problem with it.
