Question 188
After Tal Afar was liberated from ISIS, Ansari families displaced from the city were uncertain whether to return because of continuing security and political risks. Should they return or remain away?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
The believers' return to Tal Afar and to their lands and homes is necessary. There is no problem with some believers going to Tal Afar from time to time to learn about the situation. When it becomes suitable, it is preferable to return. I ask Allah to make your feet firm, repel every evil and harm from you, and grant you a mighty victory.
