With theft from homes and shops becoming common, may the owner or someone else kill a thief caught in the act, whether in self-defense or to protect property?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Defense of oneself is limited to the amount of necessity. For example, if it is possible to injure and incapacitate the attacker, that is sufficient.
