Question 147
How do we determine whether a relative is a nasibi? They do not believe in the Imam—may my soul be sacrificed for him—do not believe that the Messenger has descendants, and are annoyed by our mourning for Imam Husayn during Muharram. Are they considered nasibis?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
A person is not judged to be a nasibi unless there is certainty that he is openly hostile, whether through his words or actions. Mere suspicion is not relied upon.
