Question 146
A sister left the faith after having believed in the call, while her children remain believers. What is the ruling on her cooking and touching the believers' food, clothing and other things with transferable moisture? Is she considered impure, and what are the limits of dealing with her, given that she does not physically harm the believers but opposes the call in her heart and speech?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If the question concerns how her children should deal with her, they should treat her with mercy. Perhaps God will reform her condition.
