Question 77
The Laws of Islam mentions the expiation for a man who has intercourse with his female slave while she is in ihram with his permission. What is the ruling in detail?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
The detail is given in volume 2 of The Laws of Islam: if he has intercourse with his female slave while he himself is not in ihram and she is in ihram with his permission, he bears her expiation—a camel, a cow, or a sheep. If he is indigent, then a sheep or fasting for three days.
