Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Answer to Question 1: It is impure. Answer to Question 2: She knows that. Answer to Question 3: Khums is not paid upon it again. Answer to Question 4: Allah willing, a book will be issued containing a detailed explanation of this. Answer to Question 5: It does not invalidate ablution and is not impure, on condition that no feces accompany it. Answer to Question 6: Allah willing, you will find a detailed explanation of this matter in a book that will be issued. Answer to Question 7: It is pure. Answer to Question 8: Allah willing, a book about the spirit will be published containing a detailed explanation. Answer to Question 9: The Exalted said: ‘Then a fast of three days during the pilgrimage and seven when you return; those are ten complete. This is for one whose family is not present at the Sacred Mosque’ ([100]). The degrees of faith, or stations of ascent, are ten: three in the House of Allah and seven in your houses-the seven heavens. The human being is meant to ascend through his prayer from his condition in this world to the Hereafter, for prayer is the believer’s ascension, as he (s) said ([101]). First, he wishes to ascend, so he says the takbir seven times and thereby ascends the seven heavens. Then his prayer is meant to be an ascent through what remains so that his condition becomes: ‘at a distance of two bow-lengths or nearer’ ([102]). These are the three takbirs at the end of the prayer. That is, his prayer is meant to bring him to the highest station, which is ascending the three remaining ranks after the universal seventh heaven. As I explained previously, these three are the Footstool, the Greatest Throne, and the pavilion of the Greatest Throne ([103]). As you see, the three are in the pilgrimage, in the Sacred Mosque, and in the House of Allah, at the conclusion of prayer; that is, they are the utmost ascent the servant reaches through his prayer.
