Question 333

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. I testify that there is no god except Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that Ali and the Imams from his descendants are Allah’s proofs; and I testify that Ahmed and the Mahdis from his descendants are Allah’s proofs. I sought guidance from Allah concerning a matter I want to undertake, Allah willing, and the answer supported this matter. I intended to turn to you, my master, since you are my Imam, to seek your permission and counsel, because whoever seeks counsel through the divine light is never disappointed. I became rightly guided, and Allah aided me in knowing you and following the truth. My master and guardian, I have come to your door, so do not send me away disappointed. I-and I seek refuge in Allah from the ego-hope to be a servant to the dust beneath your noble feet. Praise be to Allah, I have found the path of truth, and after Allah, Glorious and Exalted, the merit belonged to one of the Supporters-may Allah protect him. This Supporter was my husband and is my child’s father. We are now separated and he is now married. My child and I need him, and I would like to complete this blessed path with him. I intend to suggest to him that he make me lawful to him again and give me shelter. It does not harm me to be a second wife so long as this is Allah’s law. My master and guardian, illuminate me with your light. If you give me permission, I will intend this, Allah willing, seeking Allah’s satisfaction and that of His guardian and Proof (a). I ask you not to send me away disappointed, O one who succors those seeking succor and relieves the distressed, O one whom Allah has made His vicegerent upon His earth. Reach me, my master and guardian; you are the father to us. May Allah support you and establish you-my God, amen-by the right of your grandfather Muhammad (s) and your pure forefathers (a). Praise be to Allah alone, alone, alone. O Allah, protect my master, the Yamani of the family of Muhammad, the Mahdi Ahmed (a). O Allah, surround him with Your angels brought near and strengthen him with the Holy Spirit, O Lord of the worlds … O Allah, support him with mighty support, grant him a clear victory, and grant him supporting authority from You. O Allah, establish him upon Your earth now, now, now, through Your power and strength, O Generous. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. I testify that there is no god except Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that Ali and the Imams from his descendants are Allah’s proofs; and I testify that Ahmed and the Mahdis from his descendants are Allah’s proofs.
