Question 521
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. O Allah, send abundant prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. My master and guardian, Yamani of the family of Muhammad, I ask Allah to grant you soundness and success. You mentioned in The Enlightening Answer Across the Ether that the human being is now in the second test, which is the test of the life of this world, and that the first test was in the World of the Particles. How does a person know that he succeeded in the first test? Will one who succeeded in the first test succeed in the second, or what, my guardian, Yamani of the family of Muhammad? I thank you, and thank you for your patience with us. My second question: what do you say about the Bermuda Triangle, and what is its secret? May Allah preserve you from every evil, my guardian. My master, I ask you to pray for me, for I am a poor, insignificant woman filled with sins. I entrust you to Allah, my master. Sender: Nura al-Suwayfi - Canada
Supporters Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. My honorable sister, nothing in the heavens or the earth escapes Allah’s knowledge. He knows which of His creation succeeds in the first test and which of them will fail. Likewise, He knows that whoever succeeded in the first test will succeed in the second, and that whoever failed in the first will fail in the second. This test is more fully to establish the proof against the people. Even so, in the Hereafter, the disbelievers will ask Allah to return them and test them a third time so that they may act righteously, but Allah, Exalted is He, answers them that, if they were returned, they would return to their disbelief and disobedience. The Exalted said: ‘If only you could see when they are made to stand before the Fire and say, “If only we were returned, we would not deny the signs of our Lord, and we would be among the believers.” Rather, what they used to conceal before has appeared to them. If they were returned, they would surely return to what they were forbidden, and indeed they are liars’ ([200]). The Exalted said: ‘Until, when death comes to one of them, he says, “My Lord, return me, that perhaps I may act righteously in what I left behind.” No! It is merely a word he speaks, and behind them is a barrier until the day they are resurrected’ ([201]). Abu Ja‘far (a) said: ‘If people knew how creation began, no two would differ. Before Allah created creation, He said, “Be fresh water, from you I will create My Garden and those who obey Me; and be salty, bitter water, from you I will create My Fire and those who disobey Me.” Then He commanded them and they mixed. From this, a believer may beget a disbeliever and a disbeliever may beget a believer. Then He took clay from the surface of the earth and kneaded it thoroughly, and they were like particles crawling. He said to the companions of the right, “To the Garden, in peace,” and said to the companions of the left, “To the Fire, and I do not mind.” Then He commanded a fire and it was kindled. He said to the companions of the left, “Enter it,” but they feared it. He said to the companions of the right, “Enter it,” and they entered it. He said, “Be coolness and peace,” and it became coolness and peace. The companions of the left said, “Our Lord, release us.” He said, “I have released you, so enter it.” They went but feared it. At that point obedience and disobedience were fixed: these cannot become of those, nor those of these’ ([202]). Regarding your question about the Bermuda Triangle, Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan has not said anything concerning it at present. May Allah grant you success in every good. I ask you to pray for me.
