Question 91

In the third or fourth rak'ah, if a person unknowingly begins reciting part of a surah after al-Fatihah and then notices, must the person complete the surah, or may the person stop and bow?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

The person does not have to complete the surah and may stop reciting it and bow. However, if it is Surah al-Tawhid, it is better to complete it and then bow.
