Question 50
Is there a required size for the material used for prostration, such as a turbah or paper, or is prostration valid even if it is very small? What standard determines whether it is sufficient?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
The place of prostration must be sufficient for the forehead to rest steadily on it, even if it consists only of prayer-bead grains.
