Question 132
If a person was traveling, so the prayer was shortened, and missed the noon and afternoon prayers during the journey, then arrived home at sunset, are those prayers made up shortened or full?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
What was missed is made up in the manner in which it was missed. If the time of the sunset prayer began while the person was still traveling, before arriving home, the missed prayers are made up shortened. If the time of the sunset prayer began after arriving home, before the prayers were performed, they are made up in full.
