Question 135

A person who abandons prayer without considering its abandonment lawful is subject to ta'zir. How much is the ta'zir?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

These are rulings carried out only by the Imam or by a person whom the Imam appoints to carry them out. The amount of the ta'zir is for the Imam, or the person appointed by the Imam for this matter, to determine.
