Question 10

I learned that some European countries treat sewage water and turn it into water suitable for drinking. Is it permissible to drink and use such water, given that some believers live in those countries?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

It is permissible to treat wastewater so that it becomes suitable for drinking, and there is no problem in using the water after it has been treated.
