Question 5

I purified a wound and later discovered that blood was still coming from it. The bleeding then stopped, but I forgot to purify it again, performed wudu and prayed. What is the ruling on my wudu and prayer?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

According to the question, blood remained on a limb that must be washed in wudu, such as the hand or face, and wudu was performed over that blood without first purifying it. On this assumption, the limb was impure and not pure, so the wudu was invalid and the prayer must be repeated.
