Question 70
May worms or lice found in fruit, vegetables, rice or dates be eaten intentionally or unintentionally? Must a person inspect each piece of fruit before eating it? If a worm has left the fruit but its waste remains, may the fruit be eaten?

Insects may not be eaten. It is not necessary to inspect every piece of fruit before eating it.
