Question 33
A woman believes in the Call of the promised Yamani—peace be upon him—but her husband does not believe and remains doubtful. She has two sons by him and he asks her for a third child, while she believes he is not worthy of having another child from her. What is her religious duty in this matter? Should she remain with him, or seek separation in obedience to the Imam (a)?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If he does not show hostility toward the Imams and the Mahdis (a), or toward their followers, it is permissible for her to remain with him.
