Question 129
If a permanent marriage is concluded in its legally valid form and is also officially registered with the state so that the woman or the man can obtain residency, may the man waive his rights over the woman, such as the right to marital availability and similar rights? May the woman waive her rights over the man, such as maintenance and similar rights, while the marriage continues between them in this form?
