Question 133
A believing woman's husband drowned at sea more than six years ago together with the group traveling with him, and his body was never found, like the others. She did not observe the widow's waiting period. A believing man has now proposed to her. Must she observe the waiting period now before marrying him, or what should she do?

She must first observe the waiting period for the husband's death.
