Question 16
Is there a visitation that we can perform, or some rite we can perform during the Hajj season, that carries a reward equivalent to the actual Hajj without going to Mecca, here in the West or elsewhere in the world?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Hajj is obligatory. But if you are unable to perform Hajj and wish to perform an act of obedience during the days of Hajj through which you may obtain reward, then you should visit al-Husayn.
