Question 8
May the two sermons of the Friday prayer be delivered in one place and the prayer itself be performed in another place, such as another room in the same house or a neighboring house?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If it is properly regarded as another place, it is not permissible. But if the two spaces are open to one another, such that only a doorway separates them, it is permissible.
