This matter depends on reasonable assurance regarding the producer of the red meat. If you know that the producing country applies strict laws concerning this meat and monitors its production, you may rely on what is written on the product because of the oversight of the authorities in the country where the meat was produced. In Iraq or another Islamic country, in addition to the foregoing, you may also rely on the importing country's supervision and monitoring. If the Islamic state properly monitors the method of slaughter in the country producing and exporting the meat, you may rely on its oversight even when the producing country itself does not impose strict controls on meat production.
