What is the ruling on in vitro fertilization for people who cannot have children naturally because of a medical condition affecting one or both spouses and have no other way?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
It is permissible to take an egg from the wife, fertilize it with the husband's sperm, and implant it in the womb of the same wife from whom the egg was taken.
