Question 69
I have a religious question concerning my father's house where my unmarried brothers, sisters, and I used to live. We are four brothers and seven sisters. The house was built on a plot belonging to an orchard owner whose ownership was officially registered, but the state had previously taken control of it. After the occupation, the land returned to its original owner. The orchard owner agreed with the owners of the houses built on his land during the former regime that only the married men among them would each receive a plot of land in place of their father's house. One brother did not receive a plot but instead received seventeen million dinars as compensation. Do his sisters have an inheritance share in this amount, given that the house itself was sold as rubble and they received nothing from it?

According to the situation described in the question, the amount belongs to the person who received it, and he is not required to give a share of it to anyone else.
